The Esat Digifone Story

The obvious insinuation of the approach adopted by the Moriarty Tribunal in its inquiry into the second mobile phone licence is that the Esat Digifone consortium somehow did not deserve to win the second mobile phone licence competition.  In many respects, the Tribunal has taken up where the disgruntled losing applicants in the second mobile process had left off.   Many of these disgruntled losing applicants appear to have spent more of an effort in seeking to undermine the validity and integrity of Esat Digifone’s victory than they spent in the context of the actual competition process itself.

Esat Digifone won the second mobile phone licence competition for the simple reason that they put in the best bid.  Esat Digifone out-prepared and out-performed the other five applicants.  To fully understand the extent of the effort put in by the Esat Digifone team requires some knowlege of the history behind Esat Digifone, as well as an appreciation of the extent of the intensive preparation and professional execution of Esat Digifone’s bid for the second mobile phone licence.  This can be found in the link below.  This is the Esat Digifone story.
